1. Introduction
Trackr is a job application tracking tool. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. By using Trackr, you agree to the practices described here.
2. What we collect
We collect only the data needed to provide the service:
- Account information — your email address and a password hash, stored and managed by Supabase Auth. We never see or store your plaintext password.
- Job application data — the information you enter, such as role, company, salary, notes, job descriptions, and dates.
- CV text — text you paste for AI tailoring. This is processed by our AI provider to generate results and is not stored permanently; it is ephemeral and discarded after processing.
- AI-generated results — outputs such as salary estimates and interview preparation, which are cached in your account so you can revisit them without regenerating.
3. How we use your data
We use your data solely to operate Trackr's features:
- To provide the application tracking and AI-powered features.
- Job descriptions and CV text are sent to third-party AI providers (currently Anthropic) for processing.
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not use your data for advertising.
- We do not train AI models on your data.
4. Data storage and security
- Your data is stored in Supabase, in the EU region (eu-west-1).
- Row-level security ensures your data is only ever accessible to you.
- All connections are encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
5. Third-party services
Trackr relies on a small number of trusted providers:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
- Anthropic — AI processing for CV tailoring, salary intelligence, and interview preparation.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU or UK, you have the following rights over your personal data:
- Access — you can view all of your data directly in the app.
- Deletion — you can delete your account and all associated data.
- Export — contact us to request a copy of your data.
- Correction — you can edit your data directly in the app at any time.
7. Cookies
- We use functional cookies only, for authentication and session management.
- We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, with the “Last updated” date revised accordingly.
